While this one's not strictly a BARCLONE entry, I rounded up plenty of "in the wild" pictures of my "Tau Zero" design, which was designed in the glare of public scrutiny right here on YORF:

This batch includes Bill's Tau Zero liftoff and Craig McGraw's build of the TZ, as well.

Here is one I built a while ago - replete with Ion Cannon...

Always liked this design. It can be a little finicky to finish, but it simply looks good when completed. Sorry about the blurring.

Here's my Tau Zero I built a while ago. It flies great but I think my shock cord is too
short (or I chose the wrong ejection delay) since I have a nice big "Estes dent" in my
nosecone.

Wouldn't that be a "Goemmer Dent" ?

;)

Here are some photos I unearthed from the maiden flight of my "Tau Zero" Prototype I on October 21, 2006.

The launch location is the site of Dad's old farm southwest of Jerome, Idaho. None of the buildings are there any more, but you can see the neighbor's barn "across the fence" from where our farm used to be.

I've actually got two of your gorgeous Tau Zero upscale (SLS class) nosecones, Gordy --- I'm the proud owner of SLS Tau Zero's 1 and 3. :)

Pics one of these days when I remember to shoot 'em! :D

OK, see when you wait a year from the time I make the part until you build it I tend to forget.

I don't even remember doing two of them!

I don't even remember doing two of them!Gordy made four ST-10 based 1.37X upscales and three "SLS" 1.75X versions, which Dean has two of in his possession.

That was probably back in 2008. :o

And yes, they're *gorgeous.* ;) :D

Cheers,I actually took a whole series during the build process, but do you think I can find the darn things?

I'm traveling this week and next, but will see if I can grab a snapshot or two when I get home and post. The SLS TZ is really a nice build and a good flier (not to mention Gordy's balsa work on that cone...we're talking "work of art in wood", here). :)
