Hello All,
With North Korea preparing to launch a satellite--so they say--between April 12 and April 16 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Kim Il Sung (see: http://38north.org/2012/04/tongchang0401/ ), I decided to look for any scale data on its launch vehicle.
I found this combination photograph/dimensioned drawing of their Unha-2 ("Galaxy") SLV (see: http://www.thebulletin.org/files/20090625_UnhaAnalysis_Wright-Postol.pdf ), which was flown in 2009 and looks like the Unha-3 that will be utilized for the upcoming launch (analysts say that the "Unha-3" designation may simply be a vehicle round serial number rather than a rocket type number--in other words, the Unha-2 and Unha-3 may be the same design). The above-linked drawing is from this article (see: http://thebulletin.org/web-edition/features/post-launch-examination-of-the-unha-2 ) in the "Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists."
I hope this information will be helpful.
