Where or how do we find out about if a launch is going to be held or not due to weather conditions? My son and I are wanting to lauch out first rocket, and if we enjoy it then we will be joining WOOSH. We are very new to model rockets and am looking for a group to help us learn and have family fun doing so.

WOOSH is a great place to answer any questions you might have, we have members who excel in virtually every aspect of hobby rocketry. Where are you from? The club website will show all launch dates, final "go flight" confirmation is typically posted in the WOOSH forum here and on the club email list. Launches are seldom ever cancelled, only under extreme conditions. Come fly with us!

If you go to the following link you can view the instructions to join the WOOSH mailing list. The guys usually post on the list the day before/morning of a launch to let people know if a scheduled launch will be scrubbed or not.
