OOP Quest Plans Wanted

I've now received permission from Bill Stine to post OOP Quest plans on Ye Olde Rocket Plans. If anyone has plans/templates/decals of OOP Quest kits, please scan them up and send them to me. If you don't have a scanner, let us know and I'll have Buzz Nau get a hold of you. He can scan your goodies and get the stuff sent back to you promptly.

Turns out the only one I have that isnt still in production is the Apollo. I'll get those to Buzz.

Don, it was accurate but not exhaustively complete 2 years ago. I know it doesn't include kits that went OOP before 2002, and I'm sure there were some of those. Other kits may have gone OOP since then, too.

I still have one of those plastic parts packs, opened, but mostly complete.

Now if I only had the tubing to go with it ( although BMS does offer the 19mm size) .. anyone have , or know where to get, the 1.37" size tubing ?

or if anyone has an MPC / Quest plastic transition from the 29mm to 24mm tube sizes, I'd love to get one for my Martian Patrol :-)

Scott will get them posted when he can. You got to realize this is a part time job (even though it probably seems full time ;) ). In the mean time, If you need the plans I can send them to you. This one would be a tough clone because of the paper shroud.

I only posted the one Quest plan so far because the others Don sent me had the header scanned in two parts. I had to send them to Buzz to do his magic on them to join the two into one file. I just got the headers back yesterday so plan on trying to post more this weekend. We're having a snowstorm here though which has kept me busy shovelling.

FYI, The Full Betty had problems with the instructions.

I build one per the instructions, identified the problems and reported them back to Bill along with suggestions for revising the instructions and/or the parts to make it buildable and flyable.

I rebuilt it with the stock parts and modified instructions which resulted in an excellent flyer and a booster stage that tumbled very nicely for recovery.

I was hoping for a re-issue of the kit with the improvements. I guess that did not happen.
