Time to get ready for this years Triathlon.
Here you go:
Egg lofting Triathlon:

1 rocket will be built for 3 events.
The 3 events are
1. Static judging
2. D motor Single egg loft parachute duration.
3. D motor Dual egg loft parachute duration.
Clusters are allowed but the motors used must be in the D impulse range.
The eggs will be large size eggs and will be numbered and given out as we launch. They will be as they come from the store so it will be luck of the draw weight wise.
Static judging will be like last year and will be judged by all the contestants. We will go through all the rockets and you will have an opportunity to describe your rocket and what makes it special.
Rocket and egg/eggs must stay together during flight and recovery and the rocket and egg/eggs must be returned after each flight undamaged. If an egg gets broke you are disqualified for that event. The rocket must be able to be flow again or you will be disqualified. If your egg breaks on the single egg loft you can still compete in the dual egg loft but will receive a 0 for the single egg loft event. A second egg will be provided.
The winner of the Egg Lofting Triathlon will receive a Cesaroni 29mm 3 grain case and enclosure along with a G-80 skid motor. This is a good case for mid power motors and can also be used for your level 1 if you are planning on that in the future.
