Pretty much just put the electricals away between days, easy-peasy. Sorry I missed the meeting last week, baseball playoffs were moved to Wednesday. Do we have any food provisions for the weekend?

ECOF is less then 2 weeks away. I'm getting excited. If all goes well I'm gonna launch something from "A" to "K". Got some new rockets I'm looking to fly at the event. Some of the new kits are a Mega Der Max, a Norad, a Sumo, a Lil Judy. Possibly one other as well. Been fixing some of the wounded rockets as well.

I've been stuck in the house since the end of April and could use a short getaway. May I come up or is just for WOOSH members?

You're too kind! But it won't be necessary. I'll be turning it around Saturday only. The pain meds prevent me from getting "loaded" so I'll be OK to drive.

If I may, I'll have a modern Estes V2 and a vintage Estes Recruiter to fly--but I'm still in a cast and I won't be able to chase very far (or fast.)

I'd be happy to help ya with recovery if need be, as will my son - no worries.

M impulse will require additional logistics, a look out will need to be provided to ensure no traffic is on the access road.

Keep in min Lot "E" has a lot of space to the North and East that is clear of swamps and roads

Paste this into Google maps: 42.62926, -88.15003

Look at this location with the Satellite view to get a good idea what is available for landing zones. Also this is the location that needs to set up to meet launch pad location to meet safe personal distance requirements.

....so my wife said to me before I left for Bong, "under NO CIRCUMSTANCES are you to fly the Jagged Camo V2 that I just spent the last 3 days painting by hand!"

OK, babe.

No worries, she'd never know. It stuck the landing in the tall grass, didn't even scratch the paint!

Thanks! I didn't know there was a photo of the grass-down site.

But she knew it immediately when I brought the rocket back home, because she said, "My V2 smells like rocket a$$! You flew it anyway, din-chah!?"

It was sitting so perfect, I had to take a picture! Forgot about the smell, hope you didn't get into too much trouble.

Great weekend kids.
I wish i could have stuck around to see Sathers flight but I was on borrowed time.
My wife called me just as I pulled out of the lot E wondering why I wasn't home already.
I'll upload some video to youtube one of these days.
I didn't get much. Trying to use what little free time I have now to actually fly rockets when I'm at a launch. Imagine it!
Many thanks to Chad and everyone else who took the time to run the event.
I know many times over what goes into running a launch like this. My hat is off.
I'm still happy my F4-C phantom flew so well.
Do it again!

You should bring that Phantom out to the sod farm Saturday and strap a couple eggs to it! Have to put it to the test, it flew waaaay too well for a PMC! Thanks for the props ex-boss, but as always it was a group effort. Seems many have dropped off the radar in the last couple years, fortunately there's been a greater number of new folks willing to step up to the plate. Was a fun weekend.
