Slow site access

We've been having intermittent issues the past 24hrs with slow/no site access. I'm on a shared server and one of the domains is getting flooded with Apache requests. Currently working on correcting the issue. Sorry for the hassle!

They must be out on a powwow. It was like molasses earlier, but seems back to normal now.

I was away from the computer all evening yesterday. Looking at the timestamp on posts I see that there was posts up till 9:22pm CST, a lull till 12:14am CST, then no posts until mine this morning. That's unusual. Was the system unavailable again last night between 9:30pm till midnight and then again from maybe 1am on?
