Hi,
I want to get a 29mm reload, and I saw the two types. I like the easy access because it uses the redline propellant  and apogeerockets sells it: http://www.apogeerockets.com/Rouse-Tech_Motors.asp
and the reloads...

Is there any disadvantage to EasyAccess motors?
Also, what is the largest engine (can I get level 1 cert on it???) it will fit?
Thanks!!

I didn't see where Apogee has a casing or reload that you can cert L1 on and some of what they do list appears to be back ordered. You'll need something like a 29/180 for L1. I certed L1 with a H238T in the 29/180 case which is a nice reload. You can also use a G75J, H128W, or H165R in that case. Pretty versatile. For a list of vendors try looking at the link thread on TRF (http://www.rocketryforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8599&perpage=20&pagenumber=1)

The only disadvantage of Easy Access reloads is they are regulated (propellant weight is >62.5gm). To fly them without a LEUP you'll need to purchase the reloads at a launch site with a vendor who can sponsor your flight, i.e. you buy it and fly at that launch. You don't take it home. You do not need a LEUP to buy the case.

Hi Buzz,

not all easy access loads are over 62.5 grams and need a LEUP.

loads for the 29/60 , 29/100, and the 29/120 case do not need a LEUP.

True, but if I read ghost's post right he wants to cert L1 and he's going to need the 180 or higher for that.

Thanks for your help. I went ahead and ordered the hobby line 29/40-120 casing.
