Here is a lot on Ebay that has a lot of older stuff. This is not my lot. Anybody who likes to restore vintage rockets may have an interest in this one!

Those long winter months are a great time for rocketry projects, and there's a lot of work here for anyone who's into restorations............

Those into restoring someone else's old JUNK must have WAY more time on their hands than I do.
It generally takes more time to fix/restore old/abused mis-builds than building from scratch.
The only value I ever see in these used parts HEAPS are when they include old hard-to-get plastic parts like for example the sci-fi cone used for the Manta Bomber/Attack Craft Orion.

This auction is ending in 10 hours. A ton of old rockets, clearly mostly (if not all) original old parts. Yes, the rockets are probably poorly built and/or finished, but that's part of the challenge isn't it? I would love to have this old lot but, unfortunately, I already have too much in the queue. Someone is going to get a very interesting lot for cheap that will add meaning to those long winter evenings ahead. Why heck, the whole lot right now is going for about the value of the payload sections!

Here's the link again............

It is indeed. I've rebuilt more rockets that came to me from other people's donations than I have my own. Almost all have gone to kids at club launches or public outreaches. A kid shows up, doesn't have anything to fly and you let them pick something from the recycle pile. 5 seconds after launch you have a new flyer and they take the one they chose home!

The best experience I've had doing this was with a lot I got from fellow YORF flyer Les Randler a couple of years ago. In the lot was an Eagle from Space 1999. I knew when I got it that a lady in our old office loved that show so I made a couple of minor touch ups and gave it to her. She proudly displayed it on her desk for months and she used it to tell people about our local club and rocketry everytime a client came into her office. Several people even came to a launch because of it.

There's no such thing as a "Misfit" rocket. Ask Rudolph.

Looks like some have noticed it - it's up to $51 now. In the picture one can clearly see a Cobra that needs to be finished, two Streaks (one painted, one not yet), two complete X-Rays, a Drifter, what I think are most of a Farside (or X), a Mars Snooper for restoration (fins broken off, but also in the picture) and more....

The Midget is far right and painted blue. The booster for it is on the far left, painted fluorescent orange. If the winner wants to sell it, feel free to PM me :)

Yeah, I saw the Midget - forgot to mention that. It went for 76.99. No idea who got it. I opted not to bid after thinking about over 350 kits already on hand....
