Cool! The Puma will be a nice addition to the Lynx and Scorpion.

I was contemplating a three stage 24mm long motor kit today in either BT-55 or 29mm in BT-60 format. U.S. Rockets branded of course so plywood fins and rings and direct staging. The world lacks a Comanche 3 form factor for the new motors. Any interest at all in that?

On Estes I like the look of the Star Orbiter but wonder why it is not 29mm with a 24mm conversion included, like U.S. Rockets does. A future version?

The Star Orbiter is 29 mm. But no conversion included, they sell that separately.

I wonder how performant (and stable) a Star Orbiter would be with a 29mm booster.

The fins would have to be on the big size, for both stability and to get a good tumble.

It looks pretty long and stable to me. Drop stage?

Having just completed a Comanche-3 clone, I can't wait to pick up the new version. Thanks, John!

I laughed when I saw the Star Orbiter. I was expecting something exotic, but saw some sort of 3fnc thing that resembled the old Renegade kit. An F15 ought to give it a nice ride.
