We discussed this at our meeting last Sunday. There is an issue with getting PayPal set up and preregistration should open once that is sorted out. I understand that they are also trying to set things up so all NARAM preregistrations are done through the NAR site rather than having to reinvent the wheel every year. Should be pretty soon, though.

Hi all,

NARAM 58 registration is open; registered Deb and myself yesterday.

All went well with no problems. I suggest registering by 7/7 otherwise the prices go up $5,
not the $20 stated :-)

Bob
p.s. this is a fairly centralized NARAM. I hope to see new people and old friends!

First flight today!

Flew the "Big Ranger" with an AT E20-4. Boy that was a looong four seconds!
All o.k. though. The b/y/w Spherachute performed flawlessly and the Quest blue wadding
did well also (left the dog barf in the room).

No pic due to leaving the camera in the hotel room....plan to post pics on a later date.

Great NARAM!

E scale altitude and PMC was great!

Vern, Gleda and their daughter Linda signed the "Big Ranger".

Bob
p.s. will still fly it.
p.p.s. pics after I get home.

Excellent! Glad to hear that Gleda recovered from her fall.

In the NARAM Live site pictures I saw both Vern and Gleda Estes. I thought the same thing.

It was good to see Vern and Gleda again!

Arrived home Monday (stayed a couple of extra days hoping to find
lost phone.)

Here are some pics including the "Big Ranger", the Delta Syx, etc.
The USA flag decals are from after the shuttle exploded back in '86.
They were printed and distributed by Microscale gratis to hobby shops shortly thereafter.

The last pic shows the packet celebrating Vern and Gleda celebrating 65 years together
that Vern and Gleda handed out to all attendees; and what was won from the auction,
a repro catalog stiched by Gleda with accompanying repro vintage photo, and a tube of D13-0.

No need for the pic of the #1903 Maxi Alpha :-)

Certainly enjoyed my trip to NARAM for the sport launch weekend. Got in 10 flights, mostly RC/RG models.

Wish I could have stayed past Sunday afternoon, but had to be back at work by Monday.

Tom,

It sure was great to see you again after ~ 20 years!

I've always liked your designs and nicely crafted models!

Thanks for the kind words....I ought to check in here more often!

I was amazed at how many people there remembered me from my most active rocketry period of about 1990-1996 and from NARAM 38 that I attended n 1996.

Currently mulling over going to NSL 2017 in Alamagordo....could happen.
