I just finished this project for a customer.
The transition fits a 7.62" body tube with a 6.07" tube down the middle. The transition was made with 4" x 4" s glued together (four of them!) then hollowed out to fit a 6" PML tube
The capsule which was made with 3" x 3" blocks and some 1" x 4" slabs glued on the outside, fits into the 6" tube.
The worst part was hollowing out the transition for the 6" tube!
