Hello All,

The M712 Copperhead guided projectile (which is fired from 155 mm howitzers and tank guns, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M712_Copperhead and www.google.com/search?ei=i8G4WqagIZbujwOFsISgBg&q=copperhead+guided+projectiles&oq=Copperhead+guided+projectile&gs_l=psy-ab.1.0.33i160k1l4.2750.13966.0.16687.28.24.0.4.4.0.123.2611.1j23.24.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..0.28.2618...0j46j0i131k1j0i67k1j0i46k1j0i46i67k1j46i67k1j0i10k1j0i22i30k1j33i21k1.0.RXcUZk0ch4U ) has a glide mode as well as a ballistic mode; the glide mode is used when the cloud ceiling and/or visibility is too low to permit use of the ballistic mode. This would make the Copperhead a unique scale boost-glider subject. If the model was large and light enough, it should—like the Jetex-powered profile Sidewinder and Sparrow missile “stick fuselage” models—glide fairly well.
