Seemed nice and still this morning so I packed up my daughter and down to the park we went.
Shot up the Alpha III to see how things were blowin'

Landed just about 15 feet from the pad. Awesome.

Next up was the Astrocam. I wanted this kit when I was a kid (and 110 film was still widely in use lol) but I never managed to get it. Been waiting for a calm day to launch since I got it.

Got two good launches but on the second launch the parachute lines twisted up real bad and one came loose.

Only 22 more launches to go and I can get my film developed! Woo hoo!! ;)

Nice shots! Love that retro yellow-and-black pad...

What motors did you fly them on?

The Alpha III went up on a A8-3 and the AstroCam went up on a B6-4 and a C6-5

Really nice pictures of two of my favorite rockets; how did you get the pics to come out
so large and clear in your message?

I also have the same kind of Astrocam with booster; got it several years ago at one of my
local Hobby Lobby. I wasn't going to buy it until I noticed there was a pricing error; the
price sticker had $9.99 when I knew it was suppose to be $19.99! I changed my mind and
purchased it promptly (well, having a spare Astrocam in your fleet doesn't hurt, does it?!)...

I don't add them as an attachment. I already have them hosted online and then I add the link into my reply
