Send email to .....

Sorry my first post is a question and I hope I am putting this in the correct forum .....

I sent an email inquiry to another forum user today. Should there be a confirmation of any sort that the email was sent, or should the screen just disappear after it is sent along it's way?

I just sent you an email, and got no confirmation that it had been sent.

I did receive your email and another that A Fish Named Wallyum sent earlier. Looks like they get sent you just don't get a confirmation until someone sends a reply to it.

I wasn't sure if it was better to send a user an email or a pm.
