Countdown Hobbies is blowing out their remaining merchandise. The best deal I found on their site was the SLS Jaguar and SLS Sky Hook for half off.

One left of each.

The other good deal I saw was an Estes Oracle for $59.99.

Caveat emptor, though, from what I've seen on TRF. Sounds like they've had some slow service issues in the past, and considering this is a sell-off of inventory on his way out of the business, there's probably a little greater risk of not getting something you ordered. I also noticed Squirrel Works commenting that he thought it unfair he was owed 9-month old invoices and his kits were being sold marked down.

I love a bargain as much as the next guy, but prefer my "going out of business" purchases be direct, not online...

I agree, which is why I didn't make the purchases myself. ;) I just wanted to point out the "deals" to others. Looks like someone didn't have a problem with having a possible issue though. All three items have now sold.

We have always backed up our online vendors (and store vendors). If you are not satisfied, we will make it right.

D'oh! Would have definitely picked up the oracle for that...

With a credit card, it would be relatively safe...
