All,
I am looking to buy or trade for a PNC-50F plastic nose cone. This is the "droop-nose" style that was used on the following Estes kits;
1371 Starship Nova
1392 Nova Scout Ship
1971 Nimbus
In return, I can offer a PNC-50. This is the wedge-style cockpit cone used on #1374-Attack Craft Orion and #1928-Manta Bomber (which I already have both). It was also used for one year on the Centuri #5358-Python Fighter.
Any takers?

If you've got a "vindicator" nose cone, I'll make a trade.

Sorry, I don't have one of those available.
I do have a couple, but one is on my #1910-USS Pleiades, and the other is the original two-piece desgin on my #K-50 Interceptor. Needless to say, I'm quite attached to them.
Any interest in a straight sale?

Moldin' Oldies offers an excellent resin reproduction of the Interceptor cone, but he doesn't have the PNC-50F. Maybe someone might like to loan the cone to Mike so that he can offer a reproduction. ;)
It's probably just me, but the PNC-50F has always reminded me of a kid who needs his nose wiped. :D

If I ever get my hands on one, my first thought was to loan it to Mike so that he could mold it. I really want two; one for a Starship Nova clone, and one for a design I'm working up that just HAS to have that cone to complete the theme.
Think Mike would provide one sample as payment for a nose cone loan?

That's been his usual modus operandi.
