All this talk about the Mark, Mark II, Scout, etc... It got me perusing the online stuff and looking at Carl's classic list over at Semroc got me thinking what was kit KF-1? Not sure if it is a typo or not but looking at the '62 catalog on Ninfinger it shows the Aero-Dart as KF-2 and Carl you have it as KE-2. Anyway, that is not my topic for discussion, I am wondering what was KF-1?
I am sure I am missing something simple in the little research I have done, I also know that someone here is bound to have the answer for me...

There was a typo in 1962-1964. It was KF-2 during that period. The Aero-Dart changed over the years!
1962-1964 Centuri KF-2 1.5" ID paralleogram fins
1965-1966 Centuri KFS-9 2.25" ID
1967-1971 Centuri KF-12 2.25" ID
1972-1976 Enerjet KE-2 2.0" ID plastic nose cone
I don't think there was an early KF-1. Centuri started out using even numbers, then filled in with odd later. The KF-1 designation was used later for the small Jayhawk.

Ahhh, I knew someone would have an answer for me... Thanks Carl. If it had not been 11:30pm when that little question entered my mind I might have noticed what was going on with a little more research and brain power.
Thanks.

To confuse things further . . . there were actually TWO early Aero-Darts. One had three parallelogram fins and no payload. The 1964 version had four parallelogram fins and a payload section.
I've cloned both, from the slender clues provided by the catalogs:
1962 Aero-Dart clone (http://home.comcast.net/%7Estefan_jones/aerodart_i_lo.jpg)
1962 Catalog Page (http://www.ninfinger.org/~sven/rockets/catalogs/centuri62/62cen18.html)
1964 Aero-Dart clone (http://home.comcast.net/%7Estefan_jones/aerodart_ii_lo.jpg)

Carl,
The instructions for the Semroc SLS Aero-Dart (KV-6) state that your kit is modeled after the 'second' Aero-Dart kit released by Centuri.
The list you posted above states the body tube diameter as 2.25". Is that a typo or is the KV-6 kit not a full size Retro-Repro?

BobThat was incorrect. They were 1.75" instead of 2.25". Too much going on!
Stefan is also correct that the "first" Aero-Dart added a fourth fin around 1963, before it grew to 1.75"
