Anyone know if these are sold anywhere? It was used on the Sentinel and Firehawk to name a couple.

And Raven, and Magnum...

I've got two in-use, but they were scavanged from previous kits. One of them is in post-scavenge, pre-primer condition; it could be used as a master to create a mold from.

And Mega Sizz, and Sizzler, and National Aerospace Plane. ;)

If you're looking for them to use in kits, you're probably better off sending one as a sample to Carl and having him make balsa versions for you. His balsa versions of Centuri plastic cones look purdy darn good.

I'm not sure there's anywhere you can get that particular plastic cone in bulk.

Yea, I wasn't clear in my post. I know it was available in many OOP kits. I was wondering if anyone was producing copies. Carl? Can you shake one out of the Krellvinator? ;)

I'll check my BMS catalog I have stashed somewhere. *shuffles through folders*

It's not listed in the BMS 2005 catalog, Buzz. :(

If Carl wants to use mine as a pattern, it's available. I wouldn't mind having a source of this cone for a few clones. Pete Alway used it for a BT-60 version of the Aerobee-Hi, and that was a great flying model on a D12. I've wanted to do another one of those for a long time...

Count me in. I'd also like to have a couple of them for different projects. Balsa, plastic, I'm not picky.

Yup, me too. If you're listening, Carl, I'd take a couple or three.

And as if Carl needed any more encouragement to produce this nose cone, check out the latest reason to pick up one of these in the "Scrounged-Up Designs" thread in the "Projects" area... :D
