Anyone know the length of the payload tube?

According to the SEMROC website under the Classic kits site, it is an ST-830, an 3 inch length of ST-8 tubing. Gee, they have all of the parts available except for the decals and the simulated nozzle shroud. And a link to the plans.

Hope this helps.

Hey Chas, I think thats the booster tube. Might also be the payload tube, but it's listed as qty 1

Granted the quanity says "one", but it sure looks on the exploded view of the plans like it should be "two" ST-830.

The instructions from the JimZ site show two body tubes (one is the booster), two motor tubes, and the payload tube for a total of five. SEMROCs parts only show four tubes.

Perhaps Carl can enlighten us. I never had the kit. Prefered the Centaur.

Thanks for the nudge. I meant to update the Marauder. The ST-823 (booster tube) was left off, as well as the HTC-7B. The 2.25" tube was never released as a part number, but was required to make the shrouds work. The payload tube was 3.0 "

Thanks for the nudge. I meant to update the Marauder. The ST-823 (booster tube) was left off as well as the HTC-7B. The 8.25" tube was never released as a part number, but was requied to make the shrouds work. The payload tube was 3.0 "

Thanks Carl. I originally thought the payload tube was smaller, but I was test fitting parts and figured the booster tube had to be shorter than 3".
