Holy cow, Batman ! :eek:

This is only the second time I have EVER seen an Athena NIB.
I'm surprised they came with the wraps installed; did not remember that from the one I saw some 15+ years ago.

I seriously would not be surprised if I see this sell for over $1K !!! :eek:
They are EXTREMELY rare.

I was also surprised to see the wraps installed ..... the © 1972 instructions on JimZ explain in plenty of detail the adhesive, trim & placement for these wraps, as well as what to do with any left over scraps if one decided to use some of the capsule wrap pieces on the lower airframe.

I find it interesting that this model can not be finished to match the artwork on the box since all of the capsule wraps were pre-placed and installed from EnerJet .....

I wonder if the later "unboxed/bagged" Enerjet Athena kits had them installed or not.
I know for a fact the last of the Enerjet kits were all bagged, not boxed.
I have a bagged Enerjet Nike Smoke, and years ago I built a bagged Enerjet Egg Crate.

Wow, it went for $404.66. I figured it would be more.

$ 404.66 :eek:

Image that hanging in a rocket eating tree this time next week!

Sad to see these kits going to investor collectors rather than flyer collectors. Oh well...

I'm cheap when it comes to buying collectibles and probably would have went $500 for this one....forgot it was up for auction before it closed. :mad:
