Place to fly rockets in Charlotte, NC

Anyone know of a place in Charlotte, NC. where you can fly rockets up to 2K? I'm looking for somewhere at least a half mile square and would happy to drive any direction within an hour of Charlotte.

Please let me know if your aware of any contacts or any land i could do this on.

We would love to see you at a ROCC launch. ROCC is a Tripoli/NAR combined club that launches near Charlotte in Midland, NC. We launch everything from MicroMax to K's. The field we use is very nice and open to us except for a few summer months (crop time).

WE have great fall/winter/spring launches and it can get quite busy. We had a weekend in March of 240 flights.
