My wife and I were watching TV the other day and ran across the movie The Right Stuff. I stopped and we watched a bit of it. There's a scene of the Sputnik R-7 launch vehicle taking off and superimposed over it is a bald man laughing.

My wife asked me who it was and I realized that I didn't know. Now, I've seen this film about 25 times. I guess I thought it was Nikita Khrushchev or Sergei Korolev. I never really thought about it. Does anyone know for sure?

Feeling sheepish for not knowing...

I know that the Cincinnati Bengals lone Hall Of Famer Anthony Munoz played an orderly in the movie.
I know I watched it on a Sunday afternoon after an all night party and a softball rainout around 1983 or 1984.
That's pretty much it as far as my knowledge of TRS. (Although I have a "stick of Beemans" on the wall of my cubicle in case of emergency. )
