First of all, James. I have not forgotten you. I have all your creations in the system. The BC-715CN worked! On the next two 104W and 1043W, the tool knocked the balsa out of the machine. The last one damaged the wheel (repaired!) and made me think before trying a third. The problem is the severe undercut on the lower flare. I am working on "Julie IV" as I get time, to be able to do them (and Jay's Tau Zero Grande cone). The original design was done before I had all of your input. I really wish we had talked seven years ago, before I came up with the design that we have. :D

As an aside, Julie IV was supposed to take all the best from Julie II and III, but wound up with the worst of them. The upgrade is supposed to fix that and the diameter and length limitations. Right now the diameter limit is somewhere between BT-80 (works) and LT-275 (doesn't.) The length limit is about 12.6". VI is supposed to be at least LT-275 and 15" AND at least a 1" undercut.

When the Torellian Invader showed up with so many votes, I revisited the PNC-50CA. I was able to slice the new BC-520S in half, carve it a bit, and sand it over the BNC-50YP to get the correct shape. It is probably a skill level 2 rather than skill level 4.

Thanks for all your hard work Carl. Sorry that the 1040W and the 1043W did not work out and will just have to wait. The two that I am most curious about are the BC-736W and the BC-739W? Any luck with those, please keep me posted.
