A Fish Named Wallyum

I bothered Carl about the parts for this one for a while, so I firured I owed him a look at the progress. It's a 1.75x upscale of a rocket you may have heard of previously called the Centuri Vector V. It uses a 4" length of Semroc 225 tube, and an (I forget) length of ST-13, hopefully powered by an Estes E9-6 (Semroc ST-9 tube.) Carl made CUSTOM centering rings for me in two sizes to allow the three different sizes of tubing to fit together seamlessly. Amazing quality. They slipped together snugly but easily. As it stands now, I plan to fly it on Saturday or Sunday, weather and wife permitting. I'm not sure I'll have the paint and decals done by then, but my dinner date cancelled on me for Tuesday, so it looks like I'll have the whole night to do my usual "sit around in my underwear building rockets, watching poker on ESPN and eating dinner straight from the pan" thing. Good times.
I might just wear my lucky Pink Panther underpants to mark this Tuesday as a special occasion.
