Quest Accident

I've seen numerous references to an engine manufacturing accident at Quest, presumablyin the early 2000's. Evidently they shut down for awhile, then moved production overseas. But, I can't find any articles or postings stating exactly what happened.

Can someone please fill in the gaps? I'm trying to "catch up" on model rocketry history over the period where I was inactive in the hobby...

Thanks, that fills in a lot., and gave me more search terms to find some other info out.

So did Quest engine manufacturing never reopen in Arizona after that time? Did they ever determine what went wrong?

We learn from our mistakes, Let's not have History repeat itself. Bill would be the only person who would know the details, anything else would be speculation.
