Does anyone other than Dr. Zooch produce a Mercury Program Little Joe Kit in 1:70 scale or larger?

SEMROC (http://www.semroc.com/Store/scripts/RocketKits.asp?SKU=KS-3) has the Little Joe in 1/70 scale..And Sheri's Hot Rockets (http://www.cjsaviation.com/lj.html) has it in 1/30 scale..;)

Yitah Wu had a kit that used the plastic Estes capsule. Here is a link for the plans:

Those are Apollo LJ2

I think Zooch is the only Mercury variant out there.

Neubauer Rockets used to make a Mercury Little Joe kit, 2.6" diameter, 1/30 scale.
I bought one in 2003, started but never finished it.
Discount Rocketry still has one on sale for under $30.00, it's in their OOP section. Just do a search under Little Joe.

Here is a site where you can download the plans for a cardstock Little Joe I (LJ-1, with a boilerplate version of the Mercury capsule).

http://www.cardinspace.com/content/view/9/7/lang,en/

I built one of them a few years ago. (Well, everything but the escape tower. Oh, and pardon the dust. :o ) The model is in 1:48 scale, but since the kit is in the form of a PDF, you can scale the size down to 1:70 scale and convert it to a flying model by making a few modifications. The 1:48 scale model isn't all that big, though. It is around 1.67" in diameter and the height to the top of the boilerplate Mercury capsule is about 9". A 1:70 scale model would have a diameter of 1.143" (Semroc ST-11 would be a close approximation) and the model would measure 8.75" to the top of the escape rocket spike. A 1:70 model of a Little Joe flight with an actual Mercury capsule (e.g., LJ-5B) would have an adapter with a slightly different shape and would be approx. 9" tall.

I bought mine from Discount in 2003, it's still in the original shipping box.
After reading this post (and before I responded) I went to the website, out of curiosity to see if it was still on sale. As of July 27, they still listed it as available. I never went as far as to try and put it in the cart.

I really don't know if Discount Rocketry is keeping current with inventory on a OOP kit. Sorry!
