I saw a review on this kit in rocketreviews.com. I have a few questions on it. Is it OOP? and How much does/did it cost new. I was thinking about getting a sheri's hot rockets little joe and then I saw this one that had Sandmans name attached to it. So I figure it has to be a good one.

I'm revamping the design and I will re release it but Excelsior Rocketry is kinda sucking up most of my free time and money.

If you really want to help buy more decals! :D

I'm trying to make the worst part, the escape tower, a bit easier to build.

And I have to redo the casting molds well actually I'll be adding mor castings to the kit.

Not sure where the price will land but it will be more money than Sheri's but you will get a complete kit with everything.

I did get some stink from someone 'cause my kit was more money.

Sherl's kit is of the QTV mine is round A-004. Apples and oranges really.

Gus built the last one but the thread is here.

In the thread there is a link to R.S. Barkers fantastic build AND his scale LJ II launch tower!

Amazing work.

What I dont like about sheri's stuff is the tubes are fuzzy. Also for a more realistic feel a prefer a cluster. So the Roachwerks kit sparked my interrest. Thanks for the input sandman I look forward to the reproduction.

FYI,

The"fuzzy" tube is over 2/3 covered by corrugated Styrene,so the small portion left to finish isn't time consuming. It is definately not a thin walled tube but built to last!

This sounds more like what you might be looking for.

Scroll down to the LJKIT, Resin Parts, Cluster, Resin tower structure. Price is double mine, not sure about Sandman's.

Here's a pic of the kit contents...Very Nice!

Oh hi sheri. After looking around I think the best bet would be to go with your little joe kit. Its not as expensive and from what I hear your kits are of very good quility. Though I did have a question, can you get the space shuttle without the RC rig? Is there a price difference if so?
