Hobbico consists of 4 basic divisions: Tower Hobbies, Great Planes Model Distributors, Hobbico Product, and Hobbico Administration. Each division has a different focus and excellent job opportunities exist in each one. Hobbico employs more than 600 people in these different divisions.

Where there jobs listed relating to model rocketry and not posted there anymore or is this a hint of things to come?

Cheers,
Jon

I'd go for it if I lived an hour closer!

I've got close to an engineering degree. Back in 1999 I got hired as an engineer before I finished my 4th year. Never did go back and complete it though. Just missed out on a job because they wanted experience on Autocad 3DS, that I don't have.

The ones that irritate me are jobs I apply for and never hear from. Then, a month later, the same job is open again...

I posted this for anyone who might be looking for a job in the area. Good luck to job hunters.

Heh. No openings in the Reno warehouse. It's about 6,000 feet from my day-job desk.

I hope I didn't discourage anyone. As I said ,I spoke with someone there at least 10yrs ago. The position I was seeking at that time is listed there. I blame my poor resume as much as anything.

I appreciate you posting that and encourage anyone interested to apply, but be prepared to show your work! :)

By the way, weren't you going through a tough time? If so ,how are you doing now? Better I hope. :)

Yes, I have my prostectic right leg now, have been walking around for about a month now, I was fortunate to only have to go through therapy three times.

I've been out driving the back roads twice, need to practice a few more times before hitting the highway.

It's a whole new experience, I must say.

That sounds like good news. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it.

Best wishes.
