Estes #2117 Screaming Eagle

Stopped at our local shop on the way back from our aborted launch today and discovered a new kit (at least new to me), the Screaming Eagle. It's a fighter jet model, and includes a new nose cone type, the PNC-50E. This cone resembles the nose in the Venom and the Argosy, only is shorter (more blunt) and the canopy area is more pronounced (wider).

Something that will be added to the next issue of the nose cone list, Scott!

There's a build thread on ROL right now. I've yet to see one in the stores, and based on what I saw at Johnny's yesterday, I doubt I'll see one there. Looks like they're shrinking the rocket section to make way for Pinewood Derby and more models. :eek:
