Jay just gave me an idea. He sent me a picture of himself with a current Semroc offering and I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread where those who want to "expose" themselves and their work could post a picture. Got a pic of yourself with one of your favorite rockets? I, for one, would like to see it. ;)
This is mine. Ignore the text. It was meant as a joke for Jay and now I can't find the original.

However, I'm not sure if I'm ready to share the "Centuri Guy" moniker, though. ;) :D

Here's a "captioned" version of the pic I sent Bill.

Cheers,

Got a pic of yourself with one of your favorite rockets? I, for one, would like to see it. ;) Hmmm, here's a so-so pic of me with a favorite, an upscale Midget: http://home.flash.net/~samily/sprocketry/not-rollin-stone2-2.jpg
It was in Sport Rocketry back in 2002.

Here's a great pic but with no rocket: http://home.flash.net/~samily/x24-bug/Doug2.jpg I think Dave's glider had just landed in my trunk, and we were all having a good laugh.

Here's my L2, still presently unflown. The sun was hitting me just right to make my thinning hair look extra thin :( http://home.flash.net/~samily/doug1b/doug-n-1B-2.jpg

Doubting I'll be getting much empathy....

I had to dig back a bit. I found a couple photos from a club launch in 2004. Here's a couple of old classics.

I'll say! I remember when the Packers played .500 football!
Oh, you mean the rockets. ;)

Thanks Doug;

It's all Krylon, including the stripes. I've finally got a project going with Rustoleum, so now I'll be able to compare notes!

That's me on the left with the knee brace and black AeroTech cap, my buddy Scot who at the time ran Tripoli HQ is to the right of me.

One of my favorite rockets, you betcha! A full scale uprated EnerJet 2650 sounding rocket built from the 1/16/74 drawings that Gary Rosenfield sold when he ran his company Composite Dynamics.

That picture was taken at LDRS-XIII August 13, 1994. I was a good 20 pounds lighter and the smile is real. I was very pleased with that rocket :D

Doubting I'll be getting much empathy....Doug, lots of empathy but not a lot of sympathy. The top of my head is sunburned from being outside for my 3 kids' soccer games yesterday, and it hurts. If I had been flying rockets, I would have remembered to cover my head, which is nearly as ...um... uncovered as John Brohm's. ;) :p :D

Here's one of me taken by my grandaughter. She wisely focused on the important stuff...
I'm sure I've got a better one around here somwhere.

Here's one of me with my completed Estes Saturn V. Bought the kit when I lived in Colorado Springs....circa 1993-1996. Just finished building it this past summer......yet to fly it. Modified to fly 29mm.
