This rocket is designed to have detachable pods. Couldn't figure out how to have them detach in the simulation though. Works really well with a D central engine and two C engines in the pods.

Somewhere on this forum, maybe in the "Workbench | Projects" area, is a link to some plans for a strap-on booster (Marcus boosters?). It's been some time since I looked at them, but I know we've talked about them before.

Strap-ons either work, or they don't... :(

Ok, I found the thread. Interesting... with some even more interesting stories and tips. But no real instructions for creating strap-on boosters.

I think I'll post something in the regular forums and see if anyone has some instructions/parts available.
