I saw this book being auctioned on ebay, so rather than BUY it, I had the local library obtain it on an interloan.
A couple of FF/FS design ideas.

I had this book when I was a little kid! I couldn't read at the time, so I didn't even know the title, but that's definitely it.
I remember being mystified by the instrumentation visible through the cut-away in the Moon Observer. I can see now that some of it is a reel of movie film!
The designs appear to be clones of the Von Braun space travel concepts popularized in Colliers' magazine, and later adapted by Walt Disney for their Tomorrowland program (available on DVD!).

Back to the library with you Chris. ;) A few years ago I found a couple of books at the library and wrote down the titles, and soon forgot all about them.
