I just added two new kits online, Arcas 1/3 Scale (http://www.semroc.com/Store/scripts/RocketKits.asp?SKU=KS-8) and Baby Orion (http://www.semroc.com/Store/scripts/RocketKits.asp?SKU=KA-31) . We hope to have a few more just before NARAM.

Second what Bill says.
We need an SLS Orion and above that, an Enerjet Athena !
BIGGER, not smaller, is BETTER !!!!

In this case, smaller is pretty cool.

Thanks Carl, Sheryl, and the whole Semroc gang for continued introductions of new products.

Hmmmmm.....a mini-engine Orion. That oughta be interesting! That's about, what, half-scale? That'd make those pod tubes about .35" diameter, roughly. Just a guess, but probably would be the same size tube and cones as used in the 1/70th Little Joe II LES motor and cone??

Since NARAM is 2 weeks away I'll just wait and buy everything from you there.

Save shipping. ;)

Great! A baby Orion to keep my other Orion company, safely stored in a large Rubbermaid tote with other unbuilt kits.

I really need to retire. Current plans are to do that next May, and I better not delay it too much with all the kits I have in storage.

That's what I thought but believe me, retirement does not give you more time.

I think it is one of Murphy's laws.

The amount of stuff that needs to get done, (that you don't want to do), increases to fill the available time.

Yes, that is what I've heard, but I'm trying to tell myself "I won't let that happen to me ..."

Work is so stressful this past year that I'm ready to trade it for an endless list of "Honey-Dos".
Maybe.

Excellent! :)

I will just wait to place one big order when the remaining kits are announced before NARAM. :D

Hoping one of them is an Enerjet Athena clone or an upscale '72 Enerjet Aerodart.

Baby Orion kit arrived in today's mail...... :)

Oh my, what a neat little kit. This is gonna be a goodie, Those little nose cones...how in the world was SEMROC able to make something like that.

It would sure be nice to have an SLS Orion. Hint, hint.

I've got everything I need to start an upscale Orion. I just need to get going. SEMROC won't release one until I build mine.

An upscale (2.6" diameter) Centuri Orion kit is available from Neubauer Rockets.

I have an early kit. It has extremely heavy resin nose cones and the pods are not upscaled with the rest of the kit. The wrap is a vacuum formed copy of the 1/100 Saturn wrap with an extension added, so it isn't scaled longitudinally either. I think he now sells it with a balsa nose cone, but I still am not all that impressed with the kit. I doubt I will ever build it because it needs a different nose cone, different pods, and different decals to look like the original. I'm not saying it isn't a nice kit. It's just not a true upscale.

I wholeheartedly concur with tbzep's review of that upscale Orion kit; not a true upscale.

The SLS kits just do not sell. I checked our sales over they years and they are about 5%. Maybe if we could do cast nose cones (rotocast) to get the cost down, they would do better.
