"FoxTrot" Creator Bill Amend

You may have seen the follow comic strip before:

Earlier this week, I dropped the creator this note, and got the following response.

Cheers,

I was an Estes guy. Can't say I was a huge buff... only made half a dozen
rockets or so. We never had a good place to launch them where they wouldn't
end up in trees or lost in the neighborhood.

Heh...

Sounds like someone should invite Bill to either a local club launch or a regional/national meet...

(I can just imagine what Jason Fox and his buddy in the Foxtrot strip will end up building after Bill sees an "M" motor launch!) :D

Thanks for the post, Jay! I've often wondered about Bill's involvement in model rocketry, myself. :)

If you want to impress me, get a response from Jason Fox. ;) :D

Actually when I was doing a club newsletter about 15 years ago I "borrowed" one from Bill (giving him full credit of course) I only read about four comics, but his is one of them...mainly because of Jason and Marcus!

He's a regular in many club newsletters, including ours.
