A Little BP For Lunch Today

2 Attachment(s)
Made it out to the park over the lunch hour to get a couple of birds flown....

Logged two flights during this session. The first was the fleet flagship Estes Hornet on an A3 engine. Perfect flight.

Second was a launch of a Centuri Star Trooper ( the vintage design configuration). Model turned in a great flight on a 1/2A engine, with no nose cone snap back that sheared off a fin a couple months ago. A longer shock cord fixed that.

One quick note,
I've taken down my blog page due to not having adequate time resources to maintain it. Instead, I will be posting launch reports here on YORF as they happen. Stay tuned!

Always enjoyable to read about your launches! Great old Hornet, and love the ST too! It deserves a full A, by the way.

Oh, hey, hadn't caught this blog before. Nice! I subscribed via RSS and added a link on my blog. In fact it's at the top of my list of rocketry blogs, because alphabet.

Hi, All,
Thanks for looking.
MoJo, I have some future plans for the Star Trooper which will involve open air-gap staging experiments. If those are successful, and the ST survives, I'll start putting this bird up with some A10s, expecting some nice, high performances.

Rich, You have a very enjoyable blog of your own. I especially liked the posts about the clarinet rocket. I had toyed with building something similar years ago for an oddroc competition, but never got around tuit. It was called the 'Benny Goodman Special'. What is really cool about yours is it actually plays! Nice! I have bookmarked your blog and will peruse it further.

Keep Flyin'....
