Dave's Finished(ing) Some
 

For quite some time I've had quite a few builds in various stages of completion. I've decided to clear out the que before starting on anything new. Only completely finished one today, but I managed to get a lot of final painting and even more priming done today. The plan is to have a decaling party next weekend while watching March Madness. Here's a few pics, there's a couple more but the paint was still too wet too handle.

First up is my TLAR downscale of Binder Design's Velociraptor. I really didn't have a lot to go on with this one. I used a .rkt file from EMRR to downscale the dimensions, the decals are homebrewed from the few pics I could find of the original. I tried to match the fin decals to the green color on the airframe but it didn't turn out so hot.


Final paint on my BBZ BT-60 upscale, BT-50 downscale, and the original sized clone in primer.

Next is a clone of the Estes Scamp



and a yet to be named BT-80 scratch build

Definite sign that spring is approaching! Nice work. I am patiently waiting to start the final finishing process on a bunch of rockets that are still in the white. Thanks for sharing.

You should name the BT-80 bird "Jailbreak" and see if you can spot land it inside the concertina wire! :chuckle:

Not yet, thank you, Jeff. I am finishing my Scorpion and Black Brant III clones, then it is off to the Demon and Maxi-Icarus, and several from the Estes sales. If I do, you know I'm not shy about asking.

Besides, you, Wallyum et al have done more than enough for me lately.
