Schedule for NARAMs Past
 

Greetings:

I would like to pose a NARAM question to the old timers on the group. Has there ever been a NARAM whose schedule overlapped with the start of a school year ? It appears that this happened this year with NARAM-59. Some Florida schools are in session already with other opening next week. I am curious because the close timing was a factor in my not going this year. I am preparing for students. :eek:

Looks like it will happen again next year, as well. NARAM 60 was just announced for August 4-10.

I will need to check the final schedule for 2018-19 when it comes out in a month or 2 but I can tell you that an ALL AUGUST NARAM will conflict with start of school year in FLA. It probably conflicts with other states' school schedules as well. :(

NAR needs to do an all July NARAM with a max of 5 days to stay relevant to 21st century vacation schedules (4 is preferred by some).

Every year for me. Inservice started July 31 this year.

Ok, I will ask another question.

Has there ever been a NARAM held in June or July? All of the ones I remember seem to have July and August days mixed in (going back to NARAM 30 or so). :confused:
