Wow !
That's a lot of flights in one day. Not a single E9 explosion either. |

C'mon, man. I tried. :chuckle: Everyone was disappointed. It's kind of a tradition at this point. |
Maybe I'm just lucky, and it's been about 4 years since flying one, but out of several dozen E9's I have never had a single cato.
I never even had a cato with the OLD mid-90's Estes E15's and those were notorious for that. |

Here's my best E-9 cato.

Man, what an amazing photo of what looked to be a very nice rocket at one time.
Personally, I'd never had a single cato, ever, until a couple of years ago an E9 blew the fins off of and the internals out of my D-Region Tomahawk. Estes went their typical beyond A plus service when I notified them. That's why I often buy rockets directly from them when I could get them cheaper elsewhere. |

  I've managed a few of them over the years. The RDC Starflite, FSI Viking V and FSI Dart. All clones. All except the Dart eventually flew again. |
Even without FSI motors, the FSI rockets wanted to fly apart!

Or make the motors inside them blow up... |
Bill-
Those are some incredible E9 cato pics. If you told me those were from FSI E-kaboom-60's, I would DEFINITELY believe it ! |
