I've had this for a lot of years and decided to look it up scan it and share it with everyone. I've been wanting to for a number of years. Not sure how many rocketeers has one of these. I'm lucky to still have it since I earned it when I was around 13. Not to count the moves, getting married and moving to Germany, TX then Germany again and then back to the states and then around a few times. This baby looks to be signed by the Boss himself, it looks like it was done with a marker. Doesn't look like a stamp, that is for sure. Not sure who wrote my name on it.

So I'm inviting everyone that still has theirs to also please share it with us.

One way to pop my bubble is to see a lot of rocketeers post one of these, it has always been special and will continue to be.

That is cool! Yes, that's clearly the signature of "the man himself".

I don't have enough samples of her handwriting (just two signatures on two different models) to be sure, but it is certainly possible that Gleda wrote your name in.

I was active in rocketry then....I wonder why I don't even remember this certificate or that one could get it.

I don't think a lot of those are around.
I have seen a LOT of Estes literature and memorabilia and that is the FIRST time I have ever seen one of these.

I kinda thought that was the case. I had been wanting to post it for a long time but finding it took a lot of work so I kept putting it off until yesterday.
Thanks

I love my wife, but I think I might be more proud of that than my marriage certificate! (Which I have framed on the wall for all to see.)

Lol I hear you, I've been married 39 years myself.
Thanks

That's the coolest Estes memorabilia yet!

I'm sure it is rarer than some of the rarest Estes kits, such as the 1st-year K-29 "Uprated Saturn 1", the LAST year for the Gemini Titan K-21/1221 in green "skill level" packaging, and the last year of the Astron Cobra K-10/1210 in pink "skill level" packaging.
