Q Modeling Andromeda

I am selling some kits. I have hand issues and really can't see building some of my collection. I have a Q Modeling Andromeda kit and can not find any information to set a value on it, nor can I find the what it cost. I searched both forums and eBay, but can not find anything on any Q Modeling kits. I would appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks,
Chas

Found one reference to $120

"When I saw that it was finally released, I happily paid the $120 for the kit."

Thanks for the information. I have a bagged Estes kit and a boxed Estes kit from Germany. The Q Modeling one seemed like a good idea, but I just am not building much. Scott Cook of DARS, the Dallas section, has an 8 foot upscale that he flies on H motors.

A buddy of mine built one and confirmed $120 as well

More corroboration for the $120 price point from the Qmodeling website thanks to the Wayback Machine. At least in 2008 dollars. :)

I was lucky and was offered an intro price of $99, an offer I immediately took! Haven't built it, tho...
Cannot remember the owner's name (Tom?), but I had purchased several kits from him directly already.

Thanks for the responses. I tried a few tactics to search, but perhaps was not all that sophisticated. Did get an interesting if not PG response to the modeling part of Q Modeling kits. Will have to see if anyone wants to buy it in 2018 dollars.

Since it looks to be permanently out of production, I would like to see it be a bit more valuable. Still, not looking to rip anyone off. It has been stored in the attic for years so I can not vouch for the decals. I don't do eBay, so will have to see if I can gauge the interest in this kit.

While I'm not offering (:o), I agree that the scarcity of this one should add value .

If it was a Q-Modeling Starship Vega, I'd definitely be interested, and would pay above original list, depending on condition. I wouldn't think this has value from a collectible point of view, but they're excellent kits, and were certainly worth their asking price at the time. If the decals couldn't be salvagaed, StickerShock can make them.

Thanks to all who responded. I am going to hold off until after the holiday shipping season since all of the major delivery services are swamped.

I did have a Q Modeling Vega and the Stiletto, but have sold them to members on this list. Members who will surely buy me a beer at NARCON 2018 in Houston...
