Thanks for the article. I had forgotten that tidbit about his parents. I actually have one each of the plastic spin fin and Dirty Bird III fin units that were in the catalog.

On the cover of that issue is the lovely Robyn Steele holding the Pod Bay Doors altitude model. I am Door #3...

For history and posterity, could you photograph and measure both of those fin units, and post them here? Shapeways 3D prints items in multiple types of plastics (and metals), including ones that are hard rubberized plastics, like those used to mold firework missiles' parts, so it wouldn't be hard to recreate them.

Regarding my earlier post #32 in this thread, I found the instructions for the wooden Centuri Lectra-Line EFC-44 launch controller and am posting them here along with a photo of the controller.

Anybody have a copy of the instructions for the aluminum Centuri EFC-66 launch controller shown in post #32 and also shown here http://www.ninfinger.org/rockets/ca...65/65cen18.html ?
