I have the box too, it's a little beat up but it's gone back and forth to the field more times than I can count in my early days. And if you open it up, it's full of crap too!

$11.95 price point. Estes (Vern) collected $5.38 and made awesome profit.

Thank you Don for all those pictures. That is my end-all, be-all favoritest rocket EVER. I know I can make kind of a clone from Alpha III parts and an (at the moment) Excelsior wrap, but I REALLY wish Estes would release a clipped-fin, chrome-plated KC-1 reproduction.
