1976 MIT Model Rocketry Convention

While cleaning house today at my Dad's I came across a cassette tape titled 1976 MIT Model Rocketry Convention Oral Research and Development Reports, 10 July 1976. It looks like there are four presentations on the tape.

1. Celetti & Lawton - DS2 Timer (should read DS-squared)

2. Flanigan - Engine Shock

3. LaVie - Operation: Polaris

4. Shecter - Artificial Thermal Generators

Can anyone give me any background or history on the convention and the tape?

Well, Fred Schecter hangs out here, so he could provide some input!

You should digitize that tape for safe keeping. Not necessarily distribute it, but get it backed up.

Okay, I'll wait and see if Fred responds. And thanks for the safe keeping tip.
