Centuri stuff!!!

There is a lot of Centuri items on Ebay..Kits (T-Bird), Enerjets, Mini-Max. With 7 days left I can't imagine how high the bids will go.

Holy cow!

I see my budget taking a hit....

Well, that was strange..I was watching the Enerjet bidding (No, I was not in) expecting a shootout at the end. Looks like everything sold early????

I contact the seller via eBay. He told me that eBay legal pulled all of the motor auctions. I was looking forward to bidding on some of them.

There are ways to get motor/engine auctions thru ebay, albeit against their rules.
I have won a few of these auctions.
Oftentimes if they are placed on the site with pics, stating 'unused working condition' can work, such as "unused Enerjet F67-8" without mentioning the words "rocket ENGINE or MOTOR" can get thru as long as some worthless POS does not "RAT out" the seller to the mamby-pambys.
You can get fireworks the same way on ebay as the sellers often list "Vintage firecracker LABEL" or "vintage salute/Cherry Bomb BOX"
You have to contact the seller via email to see what you will really get.
I have seen many "boxes" go for well over $100 based on the vintage "bonus" contents.

And NO I don't ask if the seller can legally ship them either.

What gets me is there are Motors listed as such by the hundreds that make full auction duration. But anything remotely interesting or scarce seem to get pulled in the last day or few hours.

Is somebody ratting them out because they cant maintain the high bid anymore (?)

Ratting them out is exactly what happens to any "good" motor auction you see on eBay. A crappy practice that started in the early 2000's. Before then I never had a problem buying "good" motors on eBay. The jagoff's, and I guarantee they're members here or on TRF or both, rat them out for two reasons depending on who's doing the ratting. There's the one group that has a stick up their butt that belong to the rules are rules crowd and then there's the other group that places a bid on the motors, rat the seller out, then contact the most often "unknowing of value" seller to buy the motors directly for far less than there actual value.

Either way, they're jagoff's.

Got that right.

+1 to what Scott just said verbatim in his post above.
Jagoff RATS for either reason.
One of the reasons describes an unscrupulous crook, the other describes a tattle-tale that can't mind their own friggin' bizznuss and has to play 'shipment cop'.
Can't stand either type....both are about as useful to the hobby as a "Bowling Ball in a Deer Blind".
