Thrustline Aerospace Kit Plans

A few years ago John Rowan-Stern who owns Thrustline Aerospace contacted me and asked if I'd like copies of the plans for all the kits he produced to put online for all to enjoy. I of course gladly accepted. Unfortunately, life got in the way and I didn't get them posted back then. Well, that's about to change. Watch this forum as I start to upload plans for all of his kits alphabetically.

Most of the plan sets also include a RockSim file for the kit. I'd appreciate it if someone with RockSim or OpenRocket will give me a hand by adding a reply to each plan I post listing the parts type/size you extract from the RockSim file. Also, if there's a way to create templates from the RockSim file it would be great if you could send those as well. I'm not sure how well the jpg's of the templates he provided will scale.

There are a couple of his old plans that I already had online over on Ye Olde Rocket Plans. You can find those plans here:

I can no longer update my Ye Olde Rocket Plans website so each of my posts will have a direct link to a zip file for each plan set.

The Thrustline Aerospace plans I'll be posting are for PERSONAL USE ONLY! John Rowan-Stern and Thrustline Aerospace reserves all commercial use rights.

I'm looking forward to this. My first ever kit purchase was from Thrustline. Darned if I can find my Hank fin templates.

I think I have the kit face cards for the Hank, Alien Troop Mover, and V-2 around here somewhere. Would you like a scan if I can dig them up?

Edit: I just looked in the A-SLAM zip and the cover art is there. Looks like we're good if it's the same for the rest.

Yup, like I said he sent me EVERYTHING he had for each kit. ;) To keep zip file sizes within reason, on some kits I omit some customer pics of their rockets.

You'll be happy to know that I have the Hank plans as well.

Indeed I am. :)

And I meant to say earlier - thank you, John!
