Neubauer Little Joe 1 Kit

I recently won a lot on Ebay that contained one of these kits. I am impressed by the quality. Are these guys still in business? Does anyone have any information on the company and their products?

If only there was a way to "search" for answers to these types of questions.

Dang it. I like the Little Joe's (not the II so much). If this thread hadn't come up and that darned link... another kit! One of the few scale models I'd like to build. I've got a back-log as long as my arm.

That is a cool kit.

That's funny. Made my day.

The kit is out-of-stock. I don't know if I should be happy or disappointed.

FWIW, contact them and let them know you're interested in one. That might affect when they do the next run...or they might come back and tell you where they know you can get one or give you some leads. That is, I encourage you to bird dog it a bit, just in case.

Last I heard from Jim, they were not in business anymore. I asked about a kit a year or two ago. Maybe things have changed, they did have some nice looking kits. You west coast rocket guys may have more information.

I started doing research a few years back on offering a kit but not just of the Mercury Little Jjoe.

You start with an Estes Mercury Redstone.

Add a custom nose cone and a new body kit that let you turn the Mercury Redstone into a mercury Little Joe and a Jupiter C

I horded a bunch of Mercury Redstone kits but now the Estes kits are now just way too pricy to convert to kits.

I'd have to dig up my plans.
