Speaking of Quest parts and the cool things you can build....Lynell Jackson built a really cool rocket at NARAM 48 in Phoenix from Quest parts called the Time Twister. She flew it once again yesterday using the first of her long burn Quest C6-3 motors. The flight was astounding and there was a decent crowd on hand to view it.

It uses 3 canted motors to spin the rocket during boost and it has a large central tube that fits loose over a launch rod. She's flown it on the previous C6-3 motors and even drop staged C6-0 to C6-3, but the Chinese long burn C6-3 motors are the best. Best liftoff weight, best igniters, long burn, perfect ejection charge timing, smoke, crackle, etc.

I think there are photos on the NARAM 50 website (she shipped it to VA for that NARAM and flew it on the sport range).

Y'know - it occurs to me that Quest's 20mm tubing (with a matching nose cone) would be perfect for a NAR sanctioned payload section. This may have just made payload rockets a lot easier!

Thanks Bill. Both are great ideas. Good pricing too....shipping will be a killer, but if you order multiples, or with motors, kits, etc. it won't be so bad.

Great news, Bill. Thank you!

Thanks Bill!

Question about the PNC50 & 50mm parts. Will the new kits to be released for the ThunderJets be offered in the 50mm tube size?

I noticed there are no 50mm engine mount assemblies available. The PNC50 looks nice and $3.00 ..... these prices are very reasonable.

:)

The prototypes shown at NARAM-50 used the 50mm tubes and cones, as will the production kits.
