Estes Rubicon?
A rocket this size seems like a pretty good candidate for E power. Anyone hear of someone giving this a try?

Ah, you're the one who mentioned this... :) Spotted one at HL today, passed on it because I thought it had far too much plastic in it. It's a good candidate for more power, probably a composite E or F. And some nose weight to compensate for the extra lead in the tail... It is bigger than I thought it would be, though. So is the Eagle... Craig... |
I wasn't expecting it to be that big either, but I also wasn't figuring the Gauchito would be pocket sized. I didn't get to work on it today, but I'm definitely going with the E motor. I can always go back to the D if anything is left.

Bill, I assembled the Lucky Seven last night, and my worst fears have been realized. It's an all-plastic rocket, with a motor tube and short hook inside. It even requires WEIGHT in the tip of the cone! This tiny rocket is supposed to fly on an A10-3T, but it weighs empty about as much as the Cherokee Double-D, or even the Omega. Maybe more. Estes optimistically says it will reach 200'. Have you (or anyone else) reviewed any of these yet? Craig |

None of them are mine, but that just means they're readable. ;) |
