Motor collectors
Finally getting back to updating my motor history site.
It's a work in progress. Most photos are posted, but not all the info. I need help with photos and info for some of the companies. And I'm sure there is a lot of info missing. Let me know what you think. http://www.windsor-design-garage.com |
Changed theme for better visibility.

Sometime back you had a sort of comprehensive list. I would be wiling to host that on my site with a stable URL.

Thanks for the offer, Jerry. But I think this url will be here for a long time. Got a bunch more to post.

Are many pictures tiny thumbnails, or am I missing something? I really miss your old site. |

This site will get better. You should be able to click on a photo and get the full size photo. Some of the pics are rather small. I'm always open to new photos/advice/corrections/etc. I haven't credited all photos (chalk it up to failing memory and lack of organization). |

Dale,
looks good so far. Personally I don't like the drop down box for the manufacturers, would rather see a menu on the right where the other info is already. Looking forward to seeing the text and info posted. Some of those photos are mine - might have the motors still to get better pics on some, with newer better cameras, some of those are sold/traded off so . I know the USR D6 with the green case is mine, I htink the ACS G on the white drop leaf table also, will have to look around when I have time, not too worried about credit for the pics specifically, maybe if you do a thanks to, just drop me someplace, LOL. Do have a bunch more for you if you want, do you have an FTP or someplace I can bulk post some ? or could burn a cd. Have some mini max, more USR, oddball stuff... need to dig out my box of spent casings, if you have any interet in those, might be the only way to get photos, of, for example, my 98mm single use K250, or ACS L911 and K575's . etc. Keep us posted. diggin out the motors might be the impetus I need to get back in the groove, lol. Hang on to that DPS motor, Al. Jim didn't make many single use motors.

I appreciate you doing it. I suggest removings the links with no content (maybe have a wanted list somwhere). Also, it would be great if the descriptions were linked to the pictures.

Working on it (adding captions to photos). Links with no content will have content in the near future. |
